A Place In The Sun
We sometimes brunch at East of Eighth, and enjoy tasty food and an outdoor garden for less than the price of a diner meal. In fact, we've chosen the place for our post-wedding champagne brunch... One caveat: the garden has just a few tables for two, and one of them sits in the broiling sun (drenching my new purple shirt in sweat!); on the plus side, that table is next to an artificial pond inhabited by a turtle...
