Nice Spice Rice
...and other delights, served at a Portuguese restaurant in Newark last month, where we dined with the Walshes.. The Portuguese do indeed like paella...

Eextremely rich shrimp dish in some sort of sauce that tasted like really good Iberian liquid stuffing; ah, egg, flour, the march of the calories...
here's some wild Portuguese surf n' turf of some sort.. we were already full from the appetizers (which I stupid failed failed to photograph); most of this meal was doggy-bagged...
