South By Southeast - Sarajevo Sunset

Peering down at sunset from the Yellow Fortress, we feast our eyes on a panorama of scenic Sarajevo, which is roaring back to life from the dark days of 1990s, when they lived for over three years surrounded by snipers and short on all of life's basic needs...

Friendly, warm, and hospitable is Sarajevo's moslem soul. The city's 97 mosques call to prayer five times a day, mostly with pre-recorded chanting, but the two largest mosques still send a cantor up that minaret for five round-trips, day in and day out. Give a little listen to a video even my obtrusive finger could not ruin....
