House music for listening? You bet! Basement Jaxx surfaced in 1999 to universal critical acclaim, refuting the notion that house music can't be melodic, interesting, and clever... BJ is a UK-based DJ duo famous for a wildly inventive weekly club night at 'Rooty' in Brixton, South London, back in the mid-90s...They're insanely catchy without being simplistic 'clubble-gum...' They're back again with a sprightly fifth album, and today's Song of the Week is the single 'Raindrops..'
