Dogsled Ride!
It was an unexpected highlight of the trip. Not cheesy or for small children, were we dragged 2 miles by 16 highly-trained race dogs from a farm that raises dogs for Alaska's annual 900-mile Iditarod Dog Sled Race.
Before the ride, we had a tour of the training facility - very cacophonous, with 90 barking dogs wildly yanking at their leashes... Come see and hear what it was like:
