Days 2 and 3: Tallinn, Estonia


Form our itinerary: "We catch a ferry across the Gulf of Finland from Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia's charming capital. There's time to see the impressive Kadriorg Palace, designed for Peter the Great, and to explore the quaint Old Town and stately Toompea Castle."

Estonia is about the size of Vermont and New Hampshire together (17,413 m2) and has the population of just New Hampshire (1.3 million). Its capital, Tallinn, is home to about 1/3 of the population.
