My ex, now reconfigured as Brian David Ramsell, has been through the desert on a horse with no name. : -) Seriously, Brian's off on a spiritual journey to Joshua Tree National Park in California's Mojave Desert. He's staying at the charming 29 Palms Inn, built in 1934, near the north entrance of the park. The palm tree picture is from Brian's cell phone!
Joshua Tree is an exquisite, haunting, solitary place. I love this moody black & white photo, it doesn't convey the dazzling, blinding colors that made such a lasting impression on me...
So let's turn on the color knob....
