I stupid failed failed to know not to install memory in my desktop on my own, no matter how much the help desk person said it was simple.. Now I am desktop-less until tomorrow afternoon, complicating work and hobbies but freeing up a surprising amount of time : - )
Reflecting how I feel, this is Krakatoa, which, of course, is WEST of Java...
