Kayaking Near Arenales Volcano
Our most 'rugged' activity at Arenales was a relatively tame kayak tour around lake Arenales' calm waters...
Here I am, headcold and all..
Here, we stopped on an island to feel surrounded by the lake...
Wheeee! ...a pineapple snack mid-way at our island rest stop..
The payoff: a great volcano view...
The next morning we left La Fortuna/Arenales, ferrying across the lake in more pedestrian and sleep-addled fashion... It continued to rain..
