Short But Sweet
..like sugar cane (pictured left). Our weekly musical segment is short (I'm real sick) and comes early (Tuesday slot this week dedicated to my nephew's birthday).This week's song, "Our Life Is Not A Movie (Or Maybe)" is by Okkervil River of Austin, Texas.
Critically acclaimed, Okkervil creates its unique sound by channeling indie-rock, folk-rock, and Springsteen swagger.
It took me a while to stop stumbling over their name - it's not 'overkill river'!
