Punta Pointing
Way down in Uruguay, where giant fresh-water mouth of Rio de la Plata meets the salty Atlantic Ocean, sits Punta del Este (pictured), vacation haunt of the Latin American elite. There's a great NYT travel article about how to do Punta on the cheap.
I just worked another 15 hour day - I'm really crunching away on deals here and fielding surprise developments. As the Argentines and Uruguyans would say, I am 'hecho puré' - reduced to mashed potato consistency.
