Hope My Suitcase Enjoyed Rio
Mostly good news. American found my luggage in Rio, where it spent the afternoon. Only annoyance is that, even though it's a 45 minute flight from there to here, the baggage bureaucracy might not get it together to deliver it until tomorrow. Anyone, don't have to worry about replacing anything. Goodbye, free Brazilian wardrobe.I took a stroll on Avenida Paulista, their Park Avenue-equivalent, to shop for toiletries. There's a lovely mall and cineplex, museums, thousands of tiny shops, lots of cars. The temperature's a pleasant 70F, but the skies are heavy and gray.. Well, time to take a long-overdue shower....
