This is Benedict Allen, having completed his 1000 mile Siberian dog trek. Benedict travels even more than I do, I hear.
Last night Six Feet Under launched its fifth and final season, creativity and wit intact, with closure and wistfulness already in the air. One of many great lines comes from Catherine O'Hara, who opines that marriage isn't much more than putting 'a coat of white primer' on a relationship - hence, the episode's title.
I'm pretty much recovered, and hoping that this will be a more interesting week, on this blog and elsewhere. Cartoons follow.
