Warm Welcome
Just got back. Our welcome to São Paulo was a delightful dinner party - and indoor picnic - hosted and lovingly prepared by my friend Milton (pictured left), including Eduardo, who I met at the French film contest back in '96, several other friend, me, and Bevan. Milton served tasty, homemade Thai soup, chicken & potatoes roasted with fresh herbs and garlic, and ice-cream-esque desert, and kiwi-cranberry-pepper vodka cocktails.
It was Milton's housewarming, since he just moved in with a roommate (who just happens to be a brilliant decorator.) More about this, and some great party and food pictures, later this week....
