My friends circle the globe, for business. Doug's in Brazil this week, and Christi's off to Germany... David's somewhere in Europe w Steven but will soon pack and move back to NY. Emerson discovers more of Asia every day. And soon, Thomas, too, will hit the road...
Noir et Blanc
Brilliant photographer QT Luong, who has photographed all our national parks and much of the world in glowing color, has begun to capture Europe in ye olde black and white. I like these pictures of Belgium. QT's work can be seen at TerraGalleria - or, even easier, it's on my link menu, to the left of the screen, as 'Earth on Film'
The well-preserved medieval town of Bruges filters out any modern patina with a good black and white shot:

Bruxellois icon Mannekin Pis - the peeing statues - is always a pleasure to behold. Last month I introduced you to his Czech cousins, with their monumental dueling pee-off, on to a map of the Czech Republic, in front of the Kafka Museum...
