Strolling Through Prague
Even with all the hype, I was pleasantly surprised that Prague is not only medieval and well-preserved but spacious, sunny, and comfortable.
First, our wonderful group... Top, left to right, our tour leader Nina Obedzynski with a lovely Australian couple, Jill Goulray & Ken Sporton, from Adelaide. Bottom, left to right, Joe Tobin from Vancouver, Jill Ivory of Perth, Australia (via England), me, Lerissa Cho of Auckland, New Zealand. In front: Winnie Tse from Sydney.
Ducks at the shore of the River Vlatva, Prague's Seine, over which numerous bridges span..
One such bridge....
Crucifix statue on Prague's Iconic Charles Bridge, a pedestrian, cobblestone, sculptured affair. My surprise here is the presence of Hebrew as well as Latin writing on the statue..
Summer tea house in Prague Castle's endless gardens and grounds...
One of Prague Castle's many courtyards
Delicious architecture and art abound in Prague...
Bordello-like strip club on a quiet inner city street. My female travelling companions wanted me to pose in this one, but it just isn't 'me' : - )
Incredibly detailed clock from tower in Prague's main square...
Another face of that same clock...
Another view of Prague's main square.
